Lost my job trying to pay my taxes

I am one of many with the same statistic. Lost my job supporting 2 children and could not make my mortgage payments. I can never get through to Homecoming to talk to anyone. I am trying to get my federal taxes paid so I can stay out of jail and work. I tried to get some mortgage information and I got routed to a collector who was abusive and harrassing. The representative would not let me get a single word into our conversation. I work in the medical field. I would like to see how long I would last with these bully tactics. I mentioned I was recording the call and his tactics were against the law. He hung up on me immediately. This was after I had been on hold for 15 minutes.
