HOMECOMINGS FINANCIAL complaint

Started loan modification in Dec. 07 and have legal signed papers for this modification and yet we are still being harrassed and told we are in default. Have to date made all of our payments and have never been late, this is how they treat good customers, what a shame. As long as they say we are in default we cannot even refinance because of credit report. They have us against the wall and it is not fair to be treated this way when we did all they asked for the modification program. I am keeping very detailed records of all phone calls etc. Any suggestions, good lawyer etc.

here's some contacts that you need to file a complaint with; the federal trade commissin, atty general's office, better business bureau, dept of fair housing and dept of justice. i filed a lawsuit and most importantly keep records/copies of everything you send! good luck!
